Summary: Markdown Live Previewer is a 100% client-side tool. Your Markdown content never leaves your device. We don't collect, store, or share your data.
Data Processing
All Markdown to HTML conversion happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your content is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server. When you close or refresh the page, your content is not saved unless you explicitly download it.
What We Don't Collect
- Your Markdown content or documents
- Personal information or identifiers
- Usage patterns or analytics data
- Cookies for tracking purposes
Third-Party Services
This tool uses the following third-party services:
- Google Fonts: To load the Inter, Outfit, and JetBrains Mono fonts. Google may collect anonymized usage data as per their privacy policy.
- jsDelivr CDN: To load the Marked.js library for Markdown parsing.
- Cloudflare CDN: To load Highlight.js for syntax highlighting.
- Google AdSense: For displaying advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads. See How Google uses cookies in advertising.
Offline Functionality
This app uses a Service Worker to enable offline functionality. The Service Worker caches the app's assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and external libraries) locally on your device. This cached data is used solely to make the app work without an internet connection and is not used for tracking.
Local Storage
This app does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to store your content. Each session starts fresh. If you want to save your work, use the "Download .md" button to save your document to your device.
Children's Privacy
This tool is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
